US 85 runs right over the South Platte River, and there is a trail from one side of it all the way to the other, and beyond, to Riverside Park in Evans. These little dragonflies (this one and the ones in the pics following) were just hanging out below the hustle and bustle of the highway.

I went to lunch with an old friend of mine today and it was cloudy when I left. Perhaps you can't tell very well, but the sun broke through the clouds just to shine on the snowy peaks. It was beautifully amazing!!
